Choosing your cabinetry colors can be overwhelming, as there are endless color options. An interior designer will help you make the best choices by considering wear and tear, natural light, size of the kitchen, and balance with wall color, countertops, flooring, backsplash, and appliances (see our blog).

Our paint finish is highly resistant to staining and discoloration when in contact with aggressive liquids, a better resistance to yellowing due to UV exposure and a much improved look, touch and feel when fully cured. Many cabinet suppliers use catalyzed lacquers or conversion varnish which are less stable and more susceptible to cracking and checking especially in door joints. We can apply beautiful gloss and satin, pigmented and clear finishes.

We offer a full range of furniture quality finish in color match choices or natural lacquer topcoat. Our polyurethane finish has a high resistance to staining and discoloration when in contact with aggressive liquids, a better resistance to yellowing and is formaldehyde free and low VOC emitting leaving no lingering odors inside cabinets once fully cured.

The finish of a kitchen cabinet door can be either glossy or matte. Glossy finishes are shiny and reflective, while matte finishes are dull and non-reflective. Glossy finishes are more susceptible to scratches and fingerprints than matte finishes, but they also look more high-end.

• If light is limited, use light, warm colors.
• If your kitchen is flooded with natural light, you can play with darker colors.
• If your kitchen is small, you can give it a lighter feeling with white cabinets on top, and a contrasting dark color on the bottom.
• If you have a large family or young children, opting for darker color, or a two tone color, is a good choice to hide dirt and prints.
